SOVEYA provides confidential weight-loss and nutrition coaching for adults, children and families. SOVEYA strives to help a person establish a healthy relationship with food, implementing a comprehensive strategy that focuses on emotional and behavioral issues with eating in addition to dealing with cravings and physical hunger. We concentrate on helping our clients instill necessary lifestyle changes in their daily attitude toward food, developing lasting behaviors that allow someone to reach their goal weight with the tools to maintain an appropriate body size and proper eating patterns for the rest of their life. We provide a personally tailored, structured food plan for each client with clear guidelines and goals.
SOVEYA'S approach incorporates multiple modalities anchored by sound and sustainable nutritional guidelines, as well as including Torah principles for personal growth and behavioral change. Rabbi Glaser maintains dual certification in Nutrition/Wellness and Weight Management. He also personally struggled with obesity for many years and is maintaining a 120-pound weight loss for more than a decade. His experience, methodology and powerful communication skills have touched thousands of people around the world. He is uniquely qualified to help people with this difficult challenge and understands first-hand the central role food plays in the Jewish community and the particular obstacle that it creates for many of us.
